Exam Integrity Policy
Rules of Conduct for Online Mock Examinations & Drills
1. Server-Authoritative Timing & Auto-Submit
To maintain authentic CLAT testing parity, all exam timers are anchored to our central server clock. Local browser clock modifications or script pauses do not extend test duration. When the server expiry window lapses, current attempted answers are automatically locked and submitted.
2. Anti-Cheating Telemetry & Event Logging
During an active test session, our testing module captures exam integrity telemetry events, including:
- Browser tab switching or window defocusing
- Exiting forced fullscreen mode
- Multiple concurrent logins under the same student identifier
- Rapid abnormal response submission patterns
Note: These signals provide institute administrators with transparent monitoring data. Repeated violations may lead to attempt invalidation on merit leaderboards.
3. Autosave & Network Disconnection Recovery
Student answers are autosaved periodically (every 15 seconds and upon each question selection). In the event of an unexpected power outage or local WiFi dropout, re-logging into the portal within the active time window preserves all previously selected answers.
4. Dispute Resolution
All timestamped student logs and evaluation keys are securely archived. In case of scoring queries, students may request an academic review from the faculty committee via their dashboard.
